Lead Regulatory Engineer performs plan reviews and on-site evaluations of prefabricated modular units with complex electrical and mechanical systems. Provides technical guidance on codes, standards, and certification, resolves complex code issues, represents UL at external meetings, and supports major regulatory projects. Frequent domestic and international travel required. Requires strong communication and deep knowledge of US building, electrical, mechanical, and fire codes.

Serve as a global SME for Industrial Metaverse technologies (PLCs, IoT, cloud/edge, digital twins, AI, EMC/RED, cybersecurity). Lead standards work, develop test programs, perform and supervise complex testing, train staff, represent UL externally, and support clients and continuous improvement across regional or global labs.
