Markforged, located in Watertown, MA, is growing at an exponential rate and we’re for a highly-motivated and experienced technical recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth focused environment to help build our team. As a trusted business partner, you will craft the hiring strategy behind attracting, assessing and hiring top talent. In this role, you will partner with our hiring managers to understand their needs, create consistent, strategic interview processes and close high-quality candidates with little direction. You will have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and drive towards building diverse and top-tier teams.

You will:

  • Partner with managers to fully understand their business and set recruiting priorities
  • Develop and drive an engaging candidate experience across the organization with a focus on Engineering
  • Build recruiting practices from scratch including creating the assessment processes and leveraging market data and expertise
  • Oversee the full life-cycle recruiting efforts. This includes posting positions, screening candidates, setting interview strategies, interview scheduling, conducting, preparing offer letters and some on-boarding
  • Track all recruiting activity using Lever (our ATS) with a focus on operational excellence and data-driven recruiting practicesPre-qualify candidate's technical backgrounds and accomplishments
  • Evaluate recruitment and operations effectiveness by routinely meeting with supported teams and establishing/maintaining metrics and reporting tools. Use data to drive decisions and frequently report recruiting success and improvement opportunities to management
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, personable ambassador of the company at conferences, tech talks, happy hours, career fairs, and other public-facing venues. Build and maintain a strong network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees

You have:

  • BS/BA degree (CS/EE/ME related a plus)
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on technical roles
  • Experience with University recruiting a plus
  • The ability to grow and manage a high-quality pipeline of candidates as well as teach, coach and mentor others to be able to do the sameExperience building recruiting processes from scratch using industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to interact with all team members and candidates with professionalism and tact; articulate ideas clearly and succinctly and deploy influence when necessary
  • Lever experience (a plus)
  • Strong prioritization skills and exposure to building multiple recruiting processes
