As a Sr Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating a high performing supply base that is strategically aligned with the company's vision, delivers quality product on time and has a strong productivity funnel. To accomplish this you will build a high functioning team in that uses best in class sourcing practices to drive performance and execution.

You will:

• Build a strategic sourcing team that will scale with our growing business and implement best practices to create a supply base that delivers quality, service and cost savings.
• Create, define and implement sourcing strategy, including supplier selection, for area of responsibility to ensure business needs are met.
• Build a robust annual productivity pipeline that supports the aligned business strategy and delivers annual YOY savings through, but not limited to, category bids, supplier development, incumbent negotiation, VA/VE, and Make vs Buy.
• Conduct regular domestic and international supplier business reviews with strategic suppliers that include supplier performance reviews, technology roadmaps, business growth strategies and supply market changes
• Project manage suppliers on key initiatives to ensure performance.
• Work with the engineering team to identify key supplier partnerships and nurture those relationships into strong partnerships.
• Lead negotiations around contractual terms and conditions, pricing, service levels and optimize the Total Cost of Ownership. Acts as the point of accountability for escalation and arbitration for supplier related issues.
• Identify new and/or alternate sources of supply both domestically and internationally.
• Manage and execute regular RFI/RFP/RFQ processes to drive competition
• Conduct research and analyze international supply marketplace, maintain working knowledge of international business trends including global industry issues, cost drivers, global pricing, global market conditions, and economic indicators.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, manufacturing and finance to effectively drive accurate material forecasting, purchasing, compliance and standardized processes that enable continuity of supply, reduces E&O exposure, lowers material cost and ensures compliance.

We're looking for people who:

• Have a BS degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• 5+ years in Strategic Sourcing
• Excel in negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Are organized and experienced with project management
• Have a strong technical acumen
