The nToggle traffic optimization platform delivers heightened efficiency and transparency for buyers and sellers amidst the rapid rise of programmatic advertising.
As a member of the engineering team, you will gain a deep understanding of programmatic ad tech and be on the cutting edge of “AdTech 3.0”, developing large scale distributed systems with deep technical and mathematical challenges. The types of challenges that the team works on everyday include:
- Large scale data analysis: Solving problems involving complex mathematical algorithms and machine learning to optimize real-time traffic
- High performance software: Writing optimized, low-latency software that routes high volumes of traffic between cloud-based and physical datacenter infrastructure
- Traffic configuration and monitoring tools: Designing easy-to-use dashboards, alerts and analytics that enable traffic configuration

TECHNOLOGY STACK
The technology stack includes Scala, Scalaz, Netty, LMAX Disruptor, Spark, Cassandra, Redis, Riak, Ansible, and Docker. You will help extend the platform by recommending the best open source tools for the job and open sourcing your efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with JVM languages and Functional Programming Languages
- Experience building high-performance, distributed systems
- Experience with Apache Spark (Scala) and Machine Learning
- Front-end development with JavaScript and modern JS libraries
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
