We’re looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer for our Ingestion team! We are a highly scalable, multi-region SaaS component that glues many services together to create and store both video and audio assets that ultimately ends up serving millions of end users around the world!

About the job:

• Help define discrete technical requirements from high level goals in agile grooming sessions as well as technical discussions.
• Hands on coding
• Develop and maintain systems to process media files and metadata across thousands of customers
• Work at high scale and deal with complex multi-tenant system problems
• Work in multiple languages and technologies including: Java, Scala, Go, Mongo and BigQuery

About you:

• 3-5 years software development experience
• Ability to learn multiple different languages and use lots of tools
• Good working knowledge of Linux
• Always has evidence backed answers (enjoys metrics)
• Some experience with zero downtime services
• Some experience with AWS Cloud services with an understanding of CDNs
• Proven track records of successful project completion
