What You Will Do

  • TripAdvisor is looking for a Senior Salesforce.com Engineer to join our engineering team to expand our customer support and sales support platform. 
  • In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce.com solutions for our customer support team including a new Salesforce.com customer service solution, improvements to our existing sales support infrastructure, and new integration services with our account and billing systems.
  • You will design features, propose technical solutions, and develop software as an individual contributor and as a development lead.
  • You will report directly to the senior technical manager of the Enterprise Business Systems team for prioritization, design and code reviews, and daily development responsibilities.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Driven results within a strong, talented, passionate team, and have a solid track record of project delivery
  • Proven record of technical leadership prioritizing multiple development assignments simultaneously, communicating clearly, and effectively working with other engineers and product managers
  • Strong experience developing efficient software quickly both in practice (TDD, agile methodologies) and in theory (algorithm analysis, data structure internals)
  • Proven experience developing high-volume Salesforce.com solutions
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-in-breed enterprise applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Expertise in applying Apex, SOQL, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com developer toolkit including: Apex Classes, Controllers, and Triggers, Visualforce, Migration Tool, SFDC knowledge base, cases, customer portal, and Web Services
  • Customer support, credit card, or financial processing experience a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or higher
