Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager
We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager with significant understanding of the IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) space. In this role, you will help drive adoption of our solutions for IT by aiding the creation of compelling technical content that resonates with IT Service Management and IT Operations leaders, specifically around asset and configuration management topic areas. You are someone who excels as an individual contributor but you are also skilled at working within cross-functional projects that span field marketing, product management, product marketing, and growth teams to further Atlassian's position in the ITSM and ITOM spaces.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,100 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or product management, preferably for ITSM or ITOM software
- You have a solid understanding of the priorities and needs of ITSM and IT operations leaders
- You are skilled at communication and adept at presenting and demoing the value of products and solutions to IT buyers and influencers as well as internal stakeholders
- You have experience defining and delivering technical product marketing deliverables such as: product and solution demos, videos, presentations, blogs, webinars, competitive analyses, white papers, and enablement material
- You can develop content including videos/demos, white papers, messaging, and enablement related to the integration of AirTrack and Assets in Jira Service Management
- You can drive storytelling around data quality, reconciliation, and related topics from AirTrack via customer stories and proof points
- You have the ability to switch context from technical conversations with customers to creating compelling technical marketing content that keeps the full business picture in mind
- You are excited to build trusted relationships with analysts and other influencers through product and solution briefings, demos, and evaluations, as well as through online communities and social media
- You have experience working with product management and sales teams to shape the product strategy, and partner with other product marketing and solution engineers to build great technical content
- You can work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product, Design, and Marketing to prioritize content needs and push new content out across channels
- You can provide support around these topics for analyst reports, GTM motions and campaigns, and Atlassian events
- You can provide input to the broader Product Marketing team regarding asset and configuration management topics
- Hands-on experience with ITSM or ITOM software strongly preferred
- Strong writing and content creation skills including short and long-form
- Previous experience with asset management, discovery, configuration, and related topics is a plus
- B2B marketing experience
- Experience with Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, Apple Final Cut Pro, or similar screen capture and video editing/production tools a plus
- Familiarity with Atlassian solutions is a huge plus; ability to quickly learn new technologies is required
- Able to travel to Atlassian's international offices as needed

The IT Solutions product marketing team is growing rapidly, so you'll have tremendous opportunity to help us formulate strategies, build programs from scratch, influence the product roadmap, and be instrumental in driving top line growth for the company. Product Marketing at Atlassian is responsible for creating and executing the GTM strategy for all products across the Atlassian product portfolio by supporting our flywheel model and our Atlassian approach to enterprise sales. We believe that serious collaboration will be the key to success for this role and this role will partner very closely with our customer facing teams and solution engineers to ensure that insights from the field are reflected in our marketing content and assets.
