Senior Product Designer

We are on the search for a self-motivated, highly-driven Senior Product Designer to work with a talented team of designers, product managers and engineers to execute on our product roadmap and level-up our digital products. As a product designer, you will be responsible for conducting user research, creating UX flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity deliverables for our customer platform. As a part of our product team, you’ll work collaboratively to foster a relentless improvement design culture across the product and company.

The ideal candidate will have experience shipping iterative web products with high value on translating the complex to the simple, and a general desire to learn and drive teamwork.

You @ Mercury:

• You’ll partner closely with Engineering and Product Management to build and ship experiences that delight our users
• You’ll work closely with sales and support teams to understand our unique value prop and customer needs
• You’ll contribute to a creative design process that is built on strong cross-functional collaboration.
• You’ll help drive customer research to identify opportunities and validate potential solutions
• You’ll modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences
• You’ll contribute to design system updates, patterns and best practices.
• You’ll lead design concepts that meet business goals, solve user needs, and are technically feasible to implement.
• You’ll seek out quantitative and qualitative data to make informed design decisions, influencing the product roadmap and improving the user experience.

About You:

• 3+ years of related professional experience, supporting product design initiatives on consumer or enterprise experiences.
• High proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to compose complex flows, screens and user journeys
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
• You run usability studies with customers, collaborating with PMs to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps
• A portfolio that demonstrates your ability and end-to-end product experiences you have taken from discovery to launch.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with an entrepreneurial ownership mentality.
• Proactively manages work with ruthless self prioritization to drive what needs to be done, asking for support when needed
• An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
• An appetite for output, creating multiple solutions for every problem
