Who are we hiring?

We’re looking for a new Senior Front End Engineer to join the team. Our Engineers work collaboratively together and with our UX Designers and Product Managers to deliver web applications to enhance the lives of our patients and health research. Our current site delivers tremendous value to over 500,000 patient members allowing them to connect with one another, learn more about their disease and participate in disease research. We are increasing our investment in front end development to continually improve the user experience and design of our site and are looking for a talented front end focused engineer to join our efforts!

You will work with full-stack engineers and other front-end engineers to modernize our front-end infrastructure, build out reusable React components for use across our applications, and implement designs for our products. You will also work closely with design to evolve our user interfaces.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years web application development experience
  • Experience integrating React in a traditional server side framework (Rails, Django, etc.) - not negotiable.
  • Experience with Javascript unit and end-to-end testing
  • Strong CSS and HTML skills
  • Desire to collaborate closely with design and work with a style guide
  • Experience working on consumer-facing products
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • A team player attitude with the ability to teach as well as learn. We really like working together!
