Senior Clinical Quality Manager
Department Overview
The clinical team at Wellframe works closely with all other Wellframe departments to create clinical tools, programs, and processes that help patients gain access to the knowledge and clinical expertise they need to manage their health needs at any given moment. Our team is made up of clinicians and communications and public health experts who enjoy working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to solve tough health problems.
Position Overview
In collaboration with the Director of Clinical Programs, the Senior Clinical Quality Manager works to:
- Manage the clinical design and creation of evidence-based clinical programs to be delivered to patients on mobile devices
- Design and create clinical protocols to be delivered to Wellframe clinician users on our web-based dashboard
- Collaborate with the client services department during new program development, training, and implementation phases of program creation to ensure a successful launch
- Support the sales team in efforts to provide potential clients with a vision and understanding of how Wellframe clinical programs can transform existing workflows
- Ensure that Wellframe clinical program content and design continues to provide education and capture data on key quality improvement measures for Wellframe clients
Wellframe clinical programs and protocols address a wide variety of patient needs, from chronic disease management to lifestyle issues like weight loss and stress management. The Senior Clinical Quality Manager will be responsible for reviewing the literature to ensure that the latest evidenced-based practices are incorporated into our programs, and that our programs address all applicable quality metrics such as Medicare Stars, HEDIS, and NCQA requirements. The Senior Clinical Quality Manager will also be responsible for reviewing content authored by other members of the team for clinical accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing scientific literature and summarizing applicable evidence base
- Detailed design of clinical protocols based on evidence base
- Authoring and editing of patient-facing written and audiovisual education materials
- Develop and implement a process for periodic review and revision of existing clinical programs
- Collaborate with client services team on clinician-facing initiatives
- Support sales team during the sales cycle
Ideal candidate
- NP or PA required; ideally with experience in primary care and chronic disease management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with QI initiatives and measures such as NCQA, Stars, and HEDIS
- Prior experience with developing patient education materials and/or health technology products
- A self-starter who can manage his or her own daily workload, operate well under pressure, and balance competing priorities
- Must be Boston-based or willing to relocate to Boston
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
