Strategic Accounts Relationship Associate, DCIO - Remote East Coast US
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Strategic Accounts Relationship Associate to help drive sales and build relationships with Financial Professionals selling MassMutual Investments in the Defined Contribution Investment Only “DCIO” channel. You'll support the MassMutual Investments Strategic Account and Consultant relationships team by supporting senior members of the team in promoting, positioning, and selling the MassMutual Investments & CIT offerings to the Consultant, broker dealers, fiduciary, record keeper and Aggregator marketplace.

The Impact:
As the Strategic Accounts Relationship Associate, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Helping to facilitate the daily activity of the Strategic Accounts and Consultant Relations team members. To support their daily outreach to targeted Investment analysts, at retirement consultants, record keepers, broker dealers, fiduciary platforms and aggregator platforms in order to build relationships and increase awareness of MassMutual Investment capabilities and to help build MassMutual's DCIO business.
- Respond to direct inbound Product requests (primarily on MassMutual Investments, but may also span other proprietary investment offerings, such as stable value investments, or other co-manufactured products/CITs) and Sales calls from DCIO field sales team, consultants, record keepers, broker/dealers, fiduciary and Aggregator platforms.
- Serve as central point of contact for responding to Requests for Proposal for new investment mandates sourced through Investment Consultant, Aggregator, and Recordkeeper, broker dealer and fiduciary platform relationships.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual client servicing activities for established relationships
- Partner with teams across MassMutual to develop and deliver messaging around MassMutual Investments products, including: Investments, marketing and compliance.
- Communicate with Investment Professionals through campaigns, email, and over the phone.
- Maintain and update customer profiles and activity (phone calls, emails, etc.) related to the development of customer relationships and pursuit of MassMutual Investments sales opportunities in the Salesforce CRM.
- Handle special projects as assigned within the Consultant Relations and Strategic Account team's broader efforts.
- Attend various sales meetings and training sessions.
The Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of Financial Industry experience
- 1+ year of experience in analyzing and positioning mutual funds, collective investment trusts, and other investment vehicles for sale.
- 1+ year of experience in sales or sales support of an asset manager or investment manager.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Energetic, self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity and passion for capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both external clients and internal stakeholders
- Prior experience utilizing a consultative sales approach to influence decision makers and achieve results
- Minimal travel.
- FINRA series 7 and 63 license or ability to obtain within allotted time after start date. Candidates with a FINRA series 6 will be considered.
The Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business or related field.
- Proficient use of Morningstar Direct or other mutual fund / investment analysis software
