Senior Sales Compensation Analyst

As our Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, your role involves the day to day functions of managing, calculating, and communicating commissions for our sales org. This role requires the ability to model compensation for multiple levels and segments and the ability to juggle various stakeholder groups. Your customers will be across sales, sales operations, and accounting/finance. We are looking for a team player with strong attention to detail and communication skills to own and help us scale our sales compensation processes.
What you’ll be doing on the finance team at Drift:
- Own the modeling, managing, and reporting of sales compensation for individual contributors through sales leaders globally
- Administer sales compensation plans and clearly articulate the plans to various functions and organizational levels
- Ensure accurate and timely performance calculations and monthly communications
- Work with accounting to ensure sales commissions are booked and paid in accordance to our monthly close
- Own the data integrity and flow of salesforce and HR datasets for compensation calculations
- Manage the external relationships with our vendors and continue to drive progress within CaptivateIQ to improve and scale our sales compensation process
- Asses our current compensation process and identify areas of improvement as our company continues to grow
- Point of contact for all sales compensation related issues and questions across the org
- Facilitate meetings with all new hires in the sales organization to review individual compensation plans
About you and what type of skills you’ll need:
- 2-4 years experience in compensation, related sales operations and/or finance function
- 2+ years experience working with Salesforce
- Experience with CaptivateIQ and prior SaaS experience a plus
- You have experience working with senior leaders and are able to articulate calculations and compensation attainment in a succinct manner
- You are a team player
- You have a strong focus on attention to detail
- Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting rules related to deferred commissions and ASC 606 and 340 a plus
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments and work with cross-functional teams
