To build and extend SmartBear’s success and growth, were looking for a Sales Manager to hire, train, coach and grow a team of Inside Sales Representatives. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that’s incredibly supportive of sales. As an Sales Manager you would have a significant impact on the company’s trajectory and could be in a position to earn increasing roles of leadership and responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives in North America to meet monthly goals: activity, metrics, forecasted opportunities and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain productive, effective relationships with direct reports, peers, and senior leadership.
- Train Inside Sales Representatives on sales skills, product knowledge, time management, and customer relations.
- Develop sales metrics and performance management tools to monitor and improve performance to ensure achievement of team and company objectives.
- Monitor outbound calls, provide guidance and feedback to enhance performance, and conduct one-on-ones to track and meet sales.
Qualifications
- 5+ years sales experience. 2+ years in a sales management capacity. Experience in software quality preferred.
- Experience leading a consultative sales process with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets; Proven ability to sell to Director, VP, or C-Level
- Coaching skills - ability to observe, evaluate and use creativity to maximizing rep productivity
- Experience managing a high velocity, transactional business as well as Enterprise transactions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
