We are on a mission to build a state-of-the-art Sales Academy that will power our sales machine, ensuring all sales teams - Direct Sales, Customer Engagement and Partner Sales - have best-in-class training and the right tools to maximize revenue growth. Operating within a new software category, this role will be critical to bringing Privitar's expertise in privacy engineering technology to market, helping companies successfully implement effective privacy protection and igniting innovation.

The Sales Academy will provide a full certification process and final examination on Sales Privitar DNA and Process, Privitar Product Offering and Domain Knowledge including Privacy Engineering, Big Data etc. It will be designed to accelerate the onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing, regular training for all customer facing employees in all territories, globally, owning all aspects and initiatives across sales enablement to increase sales productivity and drive organic revenue growth at scale. This will include developing and evolving existing and future programs as required and helping to foster strong alignment across product, sales, marketing and HR initiatives and resources.

Key skills and outcomes

  • Assist in building out our Sales Enablement strategy, Partner Enablement Strategy and support GTM initiatives from a Sales Enablement perspective
  • Manage and administer sales enablement tools for content and learning modules
  • Manage and facilitate education and continual development of sales staff including inside and outside selling, marketing, and customer success aligning new hire on-boarding with ongoing training
  • Work cross-functionally to develop a library of sales plays around repeatable and impactful use cases - developed and based on customer success
  • Collaborate with Marketing to organize and update content and collateral
  • Assist with product education around new features, functionality and enhancements and surrounding product launches - including positioning around/within the competitive landscape - to incorporate marketing strategy into training curriculumLead educational aspect and content preparation around: sales certifications, Sales Kickoff, QBRs and other company training events as needed
  • Stay abreast of the likely changes - keep informed of new training methods, systems and produce sales training material
  • Work with Sales Operations to analyze performance and skill sets of sales personnel with sales leadership to determine needs for additional training and growth

Competencies

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in sales, leadership and training
  • Excellent presentation skills (oral and written) as well as ability to motivate, teach, empower, and inspire
  • Project management and problem solving skills with experience designing sales training programs
  • Solid experience with B2B and SaaS sales and business fundamentals
  • Strong people management skills, coaching experience and exceptional organizational skills
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Big Data and Analytics, a plus
