Our Sales Development Representative is a role that supports both our corporate and publisher clients working with both our current accounts and helping to identify new sales opportunities. It is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of both the publisher and corporate markets.

You will be assisting our Corporate and Publisher net new sales area with research using online tools to gather intelligence information on prospective customers. This includes:

  • Uncovering names, titles, and contract information for decision makes and influencers
  • Identifying companies across target verticals that are the best match for CCC products and services
  • Research and identify clones and competitors for our best customers
  • Diligent updating of Sales force and
  • Monitor alerts across target vertical industry sites

The Sales Development Representative will also be expected to attend Sales staff meetings. This position is part of a career path to Account Manager or net new sales.

 SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and mange effectively
  • A high level of energy, self-motivation, and enthusiasm required
  • Self-motivated and well organized with the ability to problem-solve, multitask and prioritize to meet measurable objectives
  • Must work collaboratively across all levels of the organization and be extremely adaptable and flexible 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 1-2 years of sales and/or account management experience
  • Demonstrated success in building solid relationships and negotiating with customers and all staff and management levels in an organization
  • Strong experience utilizing and searching via the Internet 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook; and must demonstrate general “computer savvy”
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com. Knowledge of legal issues, including contracts, agreements and copyright preferred
  • Travel approx 5-10%
