Manager, Sales Development

We’re looking for a hands-on, lead by example manager to oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day activities and training of the SDR team to drive meetings, sales demos and pipeline to drive incremental revenue for our Sales Organization.  

This is an opportunity to join CloudHealth by VMware's growing SDR Organization in a role that directly impacts revenue growth.

You Will:

  • Manage the Sales Development team including day-to-day activity, performance, reporting requirements.

  • Participate in the management of Salesforce, SalesLoft, Discoverorg ZoomInfo and other tools to increase SDR productivity.

  • Become proficient in the CloudHealth platform and deliver company value proposition, corporate overview, key differentiators, and platform demos.

  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of talented SDRs to meet the expansion objectives of CloudHealth by VMware

  • Lead by example to coach, mentor and assist SDR team with prospecting, phone calls, and messaging.

  • Provide constructive feedback and, at the same time, motivate the team to achieve corporate sales goals.

  • Work cross functionally with all departments to provide feedback, recommendations and report on results, trends and overall effectiveness to drive revenue.

  • Ensure that all leads are worked and nurtured in a timely manner at each stage of the life cycle.

  • Attend sales meetings, vendor trainings, and local trade shows to keep current with technology and expand CHT network.

You have:

  • 3+ years lead generation experience with at least 1+ year as management or team lead or a B2B product or service in an organization that supports solution selling and consultative sales.

  • A proven record of successfully on-boarding SDRs in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience in a B2B lead generation capacity within the technology industry.

  • An ability to leverage data and analytics to track and measure success, and help drive decision making.

  • A passion to learn new things, collaborate, and bring ideas to the team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
