Overview /

Sales Engineers provide primary technical pre-sales support and technical support to our sales team throughout the sales cycle. The Sales Engineer will use their broad subject-matter expertise to provide guidance, answer questions, and influence customers toward Numerated’s product offerings. This is a customer facing role where you will be the primary technical resource for our Sales Executives and Account Managers. Sales Engineers are responsible for defining and scoping product solution architecture, perform product demonstrations, as well as assist in mapping customer requirements to show product functionalities.

In this role, you will be a key driver during the product/technology evaluation stage and will be the go-to technical advisor for our products and platform.

This role can be done from home and is 100% remote.


Essential Responsibilities /

  • Deliver demonstrations of the Numerated platform
    • Partner with GTM teams to fully understand a client/prospect’s requirements and utilize this information to exhibit the value of Numerated platform
    • Define standard demo scripts across all products
    • Exhibit “active listening” skills to quickly react to ad hoc functional and technical questions


  • Manage and customize the demo environments
    • Able to perform upgrades of the demo region and incorporate new functionality into the demo environment
    • Customize the demo environment to support prospect use cases. Configuration may take place in the UI or database.
    • Help test new product functionality before it goes to clients

 

  • Prospect and Customer Feedback
    • Create a customer feedback loop with the product team on gaps and requirements identified during Sales process


  • RFx
    • Act as the primary contributor to RFP/RFI/DDQ
    • Able to interpret RFx questions and direct them to the appropriate internal teams, if necessary
    • Manage RFx library

 

  • Prepare sales documentation and prospect requests as needed
    • Support GTM team on prospect follow up requests
    • Organize and maintain Sales collateral
    • Help develop sales documentation


Education Requirements /

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred



Work Experience Requirements /
5+ years’ experience in technical sales in a SaaS organization
- Fintech and/or Banking experience preferred
- Excellent customer facing skills, demonstrated track record of interfacing with
enterprise clients as a confident and trusted advisor
- Strong communication and presentation skills – familiarity with Zoom beneficial
- Knowledge and understanding of SQL & Jira preferred
- Ability to travel to prospective client visits and/or conferences
