Partnership and Alliances Manager

| Greater Boston Area

AS THE PARTNERSHIP AND ALLIANCES MANAGER YOU WILL:

Build and negotiate partnership agreements that create win-win situations for Dispatch and our partners. In order to be successful in this role, you are someone with a diverse background and has demonstrated experience with:

  • Consultative sales or business development
  • Client service
  • Project management
  • Managing multiple workstreams in parallel
  • Experience working in a partnership or business development program role is a big plus

What You’ll Do:

  • You will become an expert on the Dispatch platform and the value it provides to Enterprises and service providers.
  • Strategy development: Analyze the service experience ecosystem and help identify most attractive partners/alliances across a number of potential corridors
  • Pre-partner-pitch: You will research and reach out to prospects on a prioritized pipeline of potential partners. You will tailor your message and “pitch” to these potential partners based on your research of their solution and the opportunities for growth that the Dispatch platform brings to their business.
  • Post-partner-pitch: you’ll be responsible for the success of the integration and manage the relationship long term. You’ll be charged with managing design, development, testing, and launch deadlines--successfully training the partner company—and reporting and communicating with the partner as needed.
  • Advocate: Act as an advocate of Dispatch in each relationship to drive adoption, retention, and participation in new Dispatch features and products.
  • Cross-functional program management: Inside Dispatch, you will work closely with the product, engineering, services and customer success teams to ensure successful execution of each partnership
  • Occasional travel as required (20%)

What We Seek:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • An excellent communicator. Fantastic listener, capable of understanding partner issues and translating them into an appropriate solution. Reads carefully. Presents publicly.
  • An excellent project manager, with the ability to coordinate resources both within and outside of Dispatch
  • Experienced in building and maintaining significant business relationships
  • A willingness to experiment and think outside the box
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment
  • Passionate about helping others achieve results
  • Interested in building a holistic partner program
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize competing projects. Attention to detail is a must.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend New Hire Training
  • Gain exposure to Dispatch’s product suite
  • Learn the overall objectives of Dispatch in creating a partner ecosystem
  • Meet key stakeholders in other departments
  • Begin prioritization for partner outreach

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be on the front lines of discussions with potential partners
  • Interact with cross-functional Dispatch teams including Product, Engineering, Services, Marketing and Finance
  • Discuss and assist with building out product roadmap

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Own the development Dispatch’s Partnership and Alliances program
  • Refine our priorities for partner outreach
  • Help to build scalable approaches and processes for partner development and success

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be an expert on Dispatch’s business and how it relates to potential partners
  • Identify and lead new growth corridors leveraging strategic alliances
  • Determine the appropriate size/scale of an Alliances team
