Manager, Sales Development Reps

As we support our existing customers and partner with new organizations to solve their business challenges, we have an opportunity for a talented, passionate and highly motivated Manager to join our Sales Organization. We are searching for a Manager to lead our Business Development Reps for the JRebel and XRebel APM product lines in our Boston office. 

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing teams toward achieving revenue goals
  • Assist sales team members through identifying sales opportunities and closing deals
  • Develop and compare number to ensure a timely and accurate forecast are reflected in the CRM
  • Assess skill set and performance and provide ongoing coaching, feedback and/or training to team members in order to meet objectives and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Act as a key member of our interview team, responsible for hiring decisions.
  • Participate in regular sales leadership meetings

Business/Technical Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Formalized sales process and proficiency in use of sales information databases and CRM systems
  • Ability to be adaptable to an ever-evolving renewals process
  • Possess the ability to plan and organize many different tasks simultaneously.

Work Experience and Education:

  • 2+ years software sales experience with experience managing an Inside Sales team; ideally experience in a transactional software sales environment
  • Computer or High-Tech industry experience a plus.
  • Skilled sales leader and talented at motivating the team through wins and losses
  • Past experience mentoring entry-level sales talent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
