You’ll be responsible for educating and inspiring our customers and the industry at large. Professors teach the theory and practice of their subject matter with blended learning content formats, including videos, customer stories, examples, live broadcasts, presentations, and office hours.

You’ll be working alongside Kyle Jepson and be responsible for maintaining subject matter knowledge on all things related to inbound sales and services. As you advance in your role and the team grows you will find yourself specializing solely in either the Sales or Service Hub.

You’ll need to keep your HubSpot product expertise at a very high level and understand how users/customers interact with CRM free, the Sales Hub, and the Service Hub. You should use the HubSpot product on a regular basis and be in constant communication with HubSpot’s product/development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create HubSpot CRM Free, Sales Hub, and Service Hub lessons consisting of backwards plans, scripts, slides, videos and product walkthroughs.
  • Work collaboratively with the HubSpot CRM Free, Sales Hub, and Service Hub tightly to couple the Academy and Product teams.
  • Record and update training videos for certification courses and ad-hoc lessons as the product evolves.
  • Collaborate with the services, marketing, and product teams to determine best practices for customer campaigns and customer training.
  • Create and host recurring live trainings related to your topics of expertise.
  • Answer questions and provide further resources on social and community.hubspot.com
  • Write blog articles and curate examples that support HubSpot Academy Learning Center Lessons, Tracks and certification course content.
  • Present quarterly at HubSpot User Groups and/or conferences.

IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

Ideal Experience:

If you have any combination of experience from the list below, you may be a great fit for this position.

  • Experience executing the inbound methodology (being Inbound certified is required).
  • Experience using the HubSpot software (being Sales software certified is a plus).
  • B2B experience in sales or services at an inbound focused organization
  • Presentation/public speaking experience.
  • Formal teaching experience, at any age level.
  • Experience creating content in multiple formats, including but not limited to blog posts, videos, and slide decks.
