What you will do:
- Assist Enterprise Sales in presenting the product and technology to prospects and existing customers
- Build expertise of the Toast product with complete knowledge of the technologies implemented in the application software, hardware, and cloud architecture
- Responsible for understanding the customer business challenges and relating the product functionality and technology to Product Management
- During the Pilot (Proof of Concept) phase, will be the primary liaison to the prospective customer’s Operations and IT organization as well as internal teams escalating in a timely manner when there are product gaps or shortcomings
- Responsible for developing product and/or feature specifications for the customer and working the Product Management team to scope effort
- Define/refine integration requirements to Product Management and communicate process and timeline to prospect
- Maintain Technical relationship with 3rd party partner’s technical resources assigned to that prospect (Online Ordering, Loyalty, Labor Scheduling, BI etc.) for product integrations
- Responsible for assisting Enterprise Sales and Marketing in response to Request for Proposal process
- Once the implementation process is completed, work with the Program Management and Enterprise Sales to advance customer to the next step in the sales process
Do you have the right ingredients?
- Minimum three years hospitality or related industry experience required
- Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations
- Ability to handle complex customer communications fluently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Detail oriented and possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of competitive landscape
- POS and back-office application knowledge required with experience in working in pilot (Proof of Concept) environment a plus
- Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously working in a fast paced environment
- Project management skills are beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
