Account Director / Digital Marketing & Social Media

We’re an established and growing digital marketing & technology agency in Winchester, MA. We feel lucky to partner with a broad range of fun and engaging clients to create big ideas and carry them all the way through end-to-end digital technology and marketing programs.

We’re looking for an Account Director / Client Services leader to manage our strategic accounts. You’ll oversee accounts across our varied portfolio of clients; our client roster includes some industry innovators both big and small, both B2B and B2C, and you’d be helping lead some of those client relationships. You'll be bringing best-in-class account management strategies to the agency and helping shape how we deliver an exceptional client experience.

In this role, you will:

●     Partner with key accounts to increase their marketing effectiveness through their content, social, digital and other marketing strategies. Turn strategy into integrated, thoughtful, well-coordinated ongoing programs that support our clients’ growth.

●     Understand client strategy and marketing/business goals for your accounts, building account-specific implementation strategies. Serve as both the voice of the client and the voice of the agency as you bring everyone to the table in support of the account goals.

●     Work cross-functionally with the rest of the team to make sure that our marketing services align with our technology projects and vice versa.

●     Analyze and regularly report on client accounts with open lines of communication to our clients’ sales and marketing managers.

●     Participate in increasing the agency’s brand awareness through email marketing, blogging, thought leadership, press releases, events, advertising and social media.

●     Participate in agency pitch meetings and provide sales support for the agency, preparing presentations, proposals, sample work projects, and whatever else we need to demonstrate our ability to serve our clients well.

Requirements:

We're looking specifically for agency or marketing consulting experience as an Account Director or Client Services lead. We’d like for you to have led some kind of implementation/roll-out of some big projects. You must be comfortable in a role the requires both strategy and tactics, since both are required here.

●     We’d like you to be the kind of person who keeps everyone informed, can communicate clearly and collaboratively, and is already ahead of issues/problems with an idea for resolution.

●     We look to you to be a self-starter; to figure out the unmet need and create a solution for it, to champion ideas and to stay at the forefront of the digital ecosystem.

●     We need you to be a really strong presenter (and builder of presentations) and someone with a high level of “presence” who can think on your feet in high-level strategy conversations.

●     We’d like to trust and rely on you to keep our customers happy with outstanding customer service skills and prior experience working directly with clients.

●     We need you to work quickly and effectively, build systems and processes that support efficiency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

●     We’re a digital agency so it goes without saying that you have to love and be fluent in technology - (internally: Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.; with clients: all things digital, with major bonus points if you’ve had prior social media management experience.

●     We require that you’re a team player, a glass-is-full kind of person, and someone for whom no task is ever too small if it helps out the team or a client.

●     We’d like you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years marketing experience working at a strategic level on end-to-end marketing programs and digital platforms.

●     Some travel will be required to client sites, events and conferences.
