EverQuote is looking for talented, goal-driven professionals to join our management team as a Manager of Business Development Reps (BDR).

The BDR Manager will be responsible for motivating and maintaining a high level of quantity and quality outbound activities, using data and observation to guide coaching and feedback, interview new candidates, and maintain and open line of communication with key stakeholder within EverQuote. The BDR Manager must be someone who is willing to get in the trenches to help their team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead a team of Inbound and Outbound BDRs
  • Coach and develop BDRs
  • Manage and Motivate BDRs towards their monthly meetings goals
  • Align with Sales Leadership to create specific messaging for targeted outreach
  • Use SalesForce and other reporting tools to guide decisions
  • Maintain high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
  • Ensure that discovery questions are being used to properly qualify decision makers (DM’s) for future meetings
  • Collaborate with your sales team to drive pipeline and growth
  • Ensure that the BDR is evenly distributing their time between Sales reps

About You:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3+ Years of Sales in the technology space
  • 1+ Years of Team Lead or Management experience
  • Team Oriented – you are willing to lend a hand and celebrate the success of your teammates
  • Driven - you are eager to make your team excel, and find the root causes of problems.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop (you must be able to learn from your mistakes)
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous success working in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment
  • Bachelor's’ degree
