Acorio is searching for a BDR Manager to lead the Business Development team. In this role you will be a key member of the Sales Leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer and have a team of Business Development Representatives eager for your leadership. You will own the strategy and development of pipeline for Acorio. We are a highly respected brand in the rapidly expanding and opportunity-rich ServiceNow ecosystem, and this position will play an important role in Acorio’s growth trajectory.

A day in the life:

  • Motivate a team of committed BDRs on a daily basis to identify new pipeline opportunities
  • Leverage and evolve systems and processes to scale the business
  • Engage and maintain close relationships ServiceNow ADRs and ADR leadership
  • Set discipline, cadence and measurement of pipeline growth, ensuring achievement of assigned objectives
  • Develop and execute prospecting campaigns and strategies including guiding the team and developing their skills
  • Develop trusted advisor status with customers, partners and ServiceNow to represent the Acorio brand effectively
  • Apply Critical Thinking to constantly improve and assist the CSO in evolving the capability and scalability of the organization
  • Work with stakeholders, such as Marketing- to support lead generation initiatives; Business Development Reps- to ensure pipeline activities and event follow through; Sales Operations and members of the Sales team- to facilitate identifying prospects and advancing conversations to create new opportunities for the sales team to close

What you bring:

  • Business Development leadership experience and a desire to find a high growth, high energy opportunity to lead a BDR team
  • Success in this leadership role for a minimum of 1-2 years, demonstrating progress and team over-achievement, leading a minimum of 4 BDRs at a time
  • Self-motivation and the ability to set, drive and lead a team to execute success in pipeline growth
  • A proven track record of leading high performance teams, hiring great talent and up-leveling skills of your teams
  • Experience in prospecting and developing prospecting skills in your team members
  • Broader business skills of marketing, planning, and financial acumen needed to successfully execute a growth strategy, with a high standard of excellence
  • A true team player mindset and a passion for building a company alongside awesome people
  • A desire to see people you lead succeed and a willingness to do what it takes to help them achieve that success
  • It helps if you know ServiceNow and are familiar with IT Service Management, Customer Service, HR Service and other functional areas of the Enterprise
