About the Role

The BDR Manager job is an ideal fit for someone who loves to manage sales teams around challenging problems. You understand and can articulate how our care model is designed to put the patient at the center of everything. You are excited to jump in and motivate a team to deliver on this mission, by helping them meet or exceed patient enrollment goals and engaging them to take tremendous pride in delivering on this work.

Daily BDR Manager Duties:

  • The BDR Manager reports into the National Director of Patient Recruitment.
  • You will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 Business Development Representatives and running daily team huddles
  • You will have a deep understanding/or potential to understand quickly: the community, the potential patients who live in the community, their caregivers/adult children and their needs is critical for success.
  • You will be analyzing sales data to drive team performance
  • Lead your team to meet month over month patient enrollment targets

Sales Representative Daily Duties:

  • Persuade prospective patients to enroll with Iora
  • Lead nurturing by phone
  • Being a brand ambassador in all of these activities at all times
  • Contact and convert assigned leads
  • Document patient recruitment activity in salesforce.com in a timely and accurate manner
  • Meet month over month patient enrollment targets

Ideal Attributes:

  • An enthusiastic leader: you have three or more years of sales management or related experience where you have motivated others to excel
  • Able to build your own pipeline: you lead by example and thrive by both coaching and demonstrating that you know your craft
  • Relationship driven: you can deftly manage relationships with prospective patients and specific community leaders who are trusted in the community as well as your internal team members
  • Detail/data oriented: you are comfortable managing a sales funnel with a cloud-based CRM, making sure the team is focused on the highest value opportunities, and represent the Iora brand with the utmost care in the community
  • Professional: you can confidently articulate the Iora Primary Care mission and what makes us unique to the individuals we serve in formal and informal settings
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment: you recognize that Iora is still a startup, and we are learning every day about what works best to deliver on our enrollment and engagement efforts

We think you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Have 3+ years of sales management or related experience where you have motivated others to excel
  • Preferably speak a second language fluently, ideally Spanish
  • Have worked in fast-paced, results-driven work environments
  • Consume data/insights to help you prioritize activities
  • Get excited about motivating others
  • Do not necessarily need any health care experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle
  • Are willing to work some nights and weekends
