The Associate Manager will lead core initiatives on the Innovation Team to find, value, communicate, and operationalize cutting-edge technologies across the startup ecosystem that enable Indigo to bring the future of agriculture into the present.

 Position Type: Full time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-impact initiatives to incorporate cutting-edge ag technologies into the Indigo Model by crafting strategy, managing internal and external relationship, and leading meetings
  • Create frameworks for finding, valuing, and operationalizing new technologies that enable Indigo’s business model for key technologies
  • Create visually compelling slides in PowerPoint to communicate core findings across Indigo and to outside stakeholders for 10 key technologies
  • Partner with Innovation Team leadership to craft team strategy that supports Indigo’s objectives and Innovation Team mission

  • Ability and willingness to lead
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an insatiable interest in cutting-edge technologies who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Highly organized
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to hold and understand several complex ideas simultaneously across cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate grower empathy in interactions with all stakeholders (E.g., growers, to Innovation Team Leadership, to internal collaborators, companies, and KOLs)

Qualifications:

  • Undergrad degree in business, math, engineering, science, agronomy, or related field with 3.5+ GPA
  • 3-5 years work experience
  • Ag and food background preferred

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
