Account Executive

OpsGenie is looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our growing sales team in Boston.

What you will do:
Independently run full sales cycles.
Develop a strong sales pipeline to meet quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Conduct a high volume of daily outbound prospecting calls to qualify leads.
Identify, attract, and qualify prospects seeking a solution in the alert management and incident response marketplace (DevOps, ITSM, IT Operations).
Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to execute initial meetings.
Deliver OpsGenie product demonstrations to prospects.
Maintain up-to-date information in our CRM (Hubspot).
Mentor and educate the Sales Development Representative team through meeting qualification and conversions.
Use tools such as Outreach, Hubspot, LinkedIn, PandaDoc, Zoom, and Google to efficiently run your business.
Use tools such as Slack and Google Hangouts to collaborate with the sales, customer success, engineering, marketing, and finance teams.
You must have:
Desire to hunt and find new business through an outbound lead prospecting model
No fear of the phone
Track record of sales success and ability to close business effectively and independently
Proven ability to meet and exceed measurable performance goals and metrics
Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands with a deadline
Proactive and creative ways to solve problems
Desire and ability to have role expanded as the company grows
3+ years of sales experience
1+ years of IT closing business experience a must
Strong team player, particularly as it relates to being ethical, honest, and trustworthy within the team and organization
US Citizenship requirement for all US locations
