HubSpot’s Sales Partner Program is expanding! Our team had a fantastic, (very) above plan first year together and we’re looking to add another team member to help us turn this into a truly global, high-growth program.

In this role, you will be a founding member of the sales team in your region, and will have significant influence over the program’s direction. Specifically, you will be responsible for helping us build partnerships with Sales Consultants, CRM Implementation Companies, and other professional service providers who work with the sales function.

The initial phase for this role will be highly transactional to manage a high volume of applications, leads and opportunities - nice “problem” to have! Given the need to manage about 100 Partners in order to close up to 50 deals per month requires a highly organised, focused and fast paced individual. Beyond the first phase, the successful candidate will be expected to build out the Consultative Partner side of their portfolio, and by extension closing larger, more complex deals.

Candidates should also know that we heavily rely on a touchless acquisition, activation and reselling model. Therefore, Sales Partners accepted into the program often need immediate coaching to sell into their client and prospect base (within the first 1 to 2 weeks). The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in a high volume/ low cost environment, but will also be capable of consulting partners on how to grow their business. In addition, this candidate will have experience selling, writing content, and building new programs and/or lines of business.
In this role, you will need to:

  • Become an expert in HubSpot Products and the Inbound Sales Methodology
  • Serve as a product evangelist for HubSpot's products and solutions
  • Follow up on partner program leads generated through the touchless acquisition model
  • Identify and connect with prospective partners that align with our ideal buyer profiles and personas
  • Experience in Partner portfolio recruitment and performance management
  • Contribute to setting, adjusting, and refining program sales strategy
  • Collaborate closely with Partners to help them grow and scale their business
  • Coach and sell with Partners to help them win new business
  • Train new sales team members as the team grows over time
  • Attain, and exceed, your monthly sales quota

You should have:

  • Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently
  • Experience in a startup environment, if possible
  • Evidence that you are a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and / or, Over Quota / President's Club
    2-7 years of selling experience operating within a web technologies or innovative online product environment
  • Experience working with HubSpot Agency Partners, CRM Implementation Companies, CRM Consultants, Sales Coaches, Sales Trainers, Sales Consulting businesses
  • Experience selling into VPs of Sales, Heads of Sales, CEO, and other small and mid-sized business executives
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, including a strong attention to detail

Required Education:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • Inbound Sales Methodology Certification
  • HubSpot CRM Software Certification
  • HubSpot Partner Program Certification (is a plus)
