Maximize account executive effectiveness by determining, developing, and solving learning needs. Deliverables will include content and best practices from many sources including the industry, the sales process, the platform, and the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; providing resources and assistance; scheduling orientation and mentoring with senior account executives. Continually improve the onboarding process for new hires
  • Evaluate Sales organizational strengths and weaknesses to determine learning needs by working with account executives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers
  • Determine and develop certification and testing criteria as required
  • Schedule individual and team training plans on a regular basis
  • Evaluate sales team performance to ensure incorporation of taught techniques
  • Oversee training material and suggest improvements
  • Provide coaching; conduct learning sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
  • Improves learning effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making learning support readily available; integrating learning support with routine job functions.
  • Choose the most appropriate learning method per case (e.g. on-the-job training, seminars and simulations)
  • Report on training program effectiveness
  • Create an open-communication climate and gather team members’ preferences for potential training
  • Stay up-to-date with employee development trends

Skill and Qualifications

  • High degree of motivation, energy, and creativity in a fast paced organization.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Enablement manager or Sales trainer
  • Understanding of sales process and best practices preferably with direct sales experience
  • An ability to manage the full learning cycle
  • Experience with learning management software tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and team management skills
  • BS degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Management or relevant field
  • General skills: Learning and Enablement Management, Performance Management, Motivating Others, Providing Feedback, Coaching, Self-Development, Motivation for Sales, Self-Confidence, Sales Planning, Orienting Employees
