As a Sales Director at HubSpot, you'll be responsible for leading and growing segment and developing sales managers on your team. This a highly visible role within HubSpot’s Sales Organization that will be focused on innovation, team motivation and performance excellence. 

You will cross collaborate with the executive team, sales operations, training, recruiting, marketing, and product teams on tasks that help move larger company initiatives forward and drive overall business success. 

As HubSpot is a data-driven organization, you will be required to use a variety of measurement tools including Salesforce.com dashboards and reports, scorecards, and surveys to gauge the effectiveness of your work within your team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Marketing stakeholders to design and implement Go To Market plans and marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for region and territories; projecting expected sales for existing and new products.
  • Design and Implements national sales programs to deliver Hubspot growth plans and overachieve on sales targets
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Maintain national sales staff by recruiting, onboarding, and training employees in line with Hubspot learning and development guidelines
  • Act as a Hubspot Culture Code leader and role model to ensure a healthy culture exists on site
  • Directly manage Sales Managers to enable them to effectively coach and grow Account Executives and BDR's on their team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by arranging training and educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 

A strong candidate will have:

  • 7+ years Sales leadership experience, ideally with a blend of first and second line management experience
  • Has worked in an international business environment
  • Has worked in software, IT and SaaS industries
  • Ideally has worked in a Freemium business model
  • Has a strong track record of overachieving and a high volume, fast growth business
  • Experience in public speaking at events and to media
