The role:

We are looking for the newest QA member to join our eCommerce team. As a team, we are responsible for innovating on the Global ASICS eCommerce Platform. We have just launched a new site in Europe and are rolling this solution out globally. We need to maintain a high level of quality while being able to move quickly. This is where this role comes in.

You’ll have the chance to be an early member of the QA team responsible for this quality. This individual will have the chance to put the right people and system in place to support the Global ASICS eCommerce sites. This individual will also get to dig through the site and new features looking for bugs while also thinking about how to do automated tests for both the storefront and the backend that powers it.

Responsibilities:

• Owning QA for a global eCommerce platform and ensuring our ability to scale up and down our processes as need be
• Vetting and managing QA vendors and partners for different regions around the globe
• The ability to be a hands on contributor as needed including but not limited to testing new features as they are developed, working side by side with software engineers, designers, and product managers to find, log, and prioritize bugs, and doing regression testing for each release and for keeping the regression test suite up to date
• Build automated tests for both the front end and back end of our eCommerce platform

What you bring:

• 5 years QA experience
• Experience managing a team, preferably both in person and remote
• Experience vetting and managing QA vendors and partners
• Software development/coding experience
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Superb communications skills
• Some experience with automated testing
• Ability to think critically to get to the heart of problems
• Computer science degree or equivalent experience
