As a Development and Sourcing Manager at WHOOP you will participate in the creation process of technical garments and accessories created for the enhancement of sports and fitness. This is a highly cross-functional role--you will partner with product Design, Development, and Merchandising to drive our agile supply chain, and help to develop and deliver quality products on time. You will engage with our partner sources and development houses to optimize our operations, react to shifting demand, and navigate global logistics. The Apparel and Accessories you’ll help create is part of an ongoing effort to optimize and advance the WHOOP product. 

 

This position will be in-person at the WHOOP office space in Boston. Applicants must currently reside in Greater Boston Area or be open to relocation in order to be considered.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Ensure global calendar dates are met to protect merchandise flows and help prioritize the design and development teams according to delivery
  • Navigate the global logistics climate to deliver goods on-time
  • Manage vendor relationships with integrity while protecting our goals and quality standards
  • Be an integral member of the Apparel and Accessory product creation team by offering project management skills and support in all vendor communications and processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or development
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in the Microsoft and Google suit
  • Ability and willingness to partner with product design and development to build high performance products for an athletic environment
  • Track record of successfully delivering on project timelines
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
