As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a central role in evolving the Platform as a Product. You will engage with engineering teams to understand their roadmaps and their needs of the Platform and incorporate those needs into a roadmap.  You will partner with Platform Engineering Leaders to prioritize the roadmap items and to transpose the roadmap items into requirements, epics, and stories for Platform Engineering Teams to consume and deliver upon.  You will own the product vision, the roadmap, set deliverables, defining KPIs, and ensure that they are met.  You will evangelize the Product as Platform, collaborate for adoption, and continually expand the Platform’s portfolio.

  • Work with engineering and development teams to resolve bottlenecks to help deliver systems and functionality which meet customer needs.
  • Analyze customer needs across teams and projects, identifying commonalities and working with other Product Managers to identify features needed for the Platform that meet these needs and use cases.
  • Maintain product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders up to date on the deliverables and timelines.
  • Create Requirements and corresponding epics and stories for Pod Teams to consume and deliver upon.
  • Manage the backlog log in terms of priorities, refined stories, and the completion of epics.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and make sure the team is continuously delivering to the growing needs of the business.
  • Review and report on progress for initiatives/projects, managing project risks - including the development of contingency plans.

What you'll need:
