Director, B2B Product Management

CarGurus is looking for a highly motivated Director, B2B Product Management who will focus on driving growth and innovation within CarGurus’ rapidly-expanding B2B Product portfolio. The Product “Guru” will report directly to our VP of Dealer Product and work in partnership with CarGurus' teams as well as the CarGurus’ dealer base to identify the highest potential product improvements as well as new categories of B2B products for the company! You will work collaboratively with engineering, sales, marketing, finance, legal and many other teams across CarGurus to bring ideas to fruition!
What You'll Do:
- Gain a deep understanding of our existing B2B product suite, including digital marketing and data/analytics products, in order to identify issues and areas for improvement
- Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to collect, vet, and prioritize ideas for potential products and optimize the existing CarGurus’ product set
- Solicit input from dealers, car manufacturers and other advertisers via surveys, focus groups, and 1-on-1 conversations to test and refine product initiatives
- Evaluate competitor offerings, feature sets, pricing models, and key messages to develop the best way for CarGurus to bring new products to market
- Analyze data on product usage and performance to optimize and improve our business
- Collaborate cross-functionally to roll out new products and initiatives, working closely with employees from across the organization to ensure success growth and profitability for the business.
- Help us hire the next generation of incredible product managers at CarGurus as you scale up your team
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of professional product management experience desired
- Experience with digital marketing is desired: ideal candidates could have work experience at technology companies, publishers, media firms, consulting companies, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- World-class people management skills and a love of team building
- Ability to lead projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation experience
- Tenacious self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively liaise with internal teams, and work closely with varying personality types
- Enjoys working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- World-class people management skills and a love of team building
