Who you are

You are a SQL expert (JOINs and aggregate functions) with exposure to digesting eCommerce Clickstream analytics, and have experience ideating and running A/B testing. You also have a broader perspective on the business impact of your work, but can zoom into the details of your work and execute against the big picture just the same. You are familiar with both the Web and App ecosystems / data paradigms, as well as the fundamentals of digital tracking/measurement and statistical analysis.You have experience using cloud-based data warehousing and visualization software (we use Looker), as well as working on a team using Git and code review processes.

You are also highly collaborative with the ability to balance several stakeholders, both technical and non as communicating data insights comes naturally to do. This means you’re able to drive product decision making by clearly articulating direction. 

What the role is

This role will primarily focus on curating and analyzing data generated by the various Drizly systems and products in a complex data environment with a variety of internal and external sources. As the Product and Engineering teams scale at Drizly, this means a greater need for Analytics to advise on the collection and interpretation of the data generated by our platforms. So, this role will help support more efficient processes by collaborating with PMs and engineers to make sure ideas are understood clearly and efficiently.

In this role you will:

  • Advise product teams on data ingestion, interpretation, and implementation.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B testing with a Product Managers. 
  • Build and maintain our tracking “dictionary” for the consumer platform. 
  • Create and update automated reports on an ad hoc basis.
