Product Analyst (East Coast Remote Opportunity)
Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Director, BI Enterprise product Management, the Product Analyst will help analyze and synthesize data to get insights needed to make the best product development decisions. This role interacts regularly with cross-functional teams and requires the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively
Major Functions/Responsibilities
- Gather and prioritize product requirements to create in support of product roadmap. Translate market requirements into functional specifications (user stories).
- Perform ad hoc SQL queries to help the Product Team make data-driven decisions
- Coordinate closely with Business Intelligence, and Engineering team to drive product vision, define and refine product requirements. Define and prioritize a product backlog.
- Manage lifecycle of the product from market requirements to product release, implementation, adoption and iteration.
- Communicate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, implementation teams and leadership to ensure business and customer goals are met.
- Utilize data to understand customer needs and behaviors as well as business objectives, and enable the team to transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features.

- Receives limited direction and exercises independent judgment within the scope of their role
- Regularly required to influence function or department
Education/Experience/Skills
- 2-3 years of product management experience
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Strong project management, organizational skills, and an understanding of how to develop functional requirements.
- Knowledge of and experience with SQL is required; Fluency in Web analytics and experience with data visualization is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to use data to spot and address risks and opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships across all organizational levels, i.e. peers, vendors, clients
