We need an Insurance Product Analyst to join us in Boston, MA.
You’ll be joining this team to help us develop our Liability and Specialty insurance offering(s), and more broadly the solutions we deliver to solve customer problems. Empowerment and learning are important to us. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions on what we execute while being accountable for results, ultimately playing a pivotal role in driving our continued success.
As an Insurance Product Analyst you will:
- Be assigned to a specific segment(s) and work alongside the Insurance Product Manager to ensure proper product development and performance
- Assist the Insurance Product Manager and Carriers by creating products that meet our customer needs
- Liaison with internal product teams to onboard new carriers by ensuring requirements are detailed and clear, the testing strategy is agreed by all parties and customer needs are met
- Be seen as an extension of the product delivery team when onboarding or optimizing carrier and product builds
- You will have operational involvement in delivering product changes and coordinating communication with the CSC
- Conduct frequent analysis of our existing products and seeking opportunities to enhance our product offering within your assigned segment
- Make recommendations underpinned by data, market research, competitor analysis, customer-driven and CSC insights on our product offering within your assigned segment
- Assist with structured market research and competitor analysis in order to improve our product offering
- Develop relationships across the organization and act as product SME to best meet customer needs i/e marketing content and product knowledge
What we are looking for:
- Experience within the insurance industry, you have a good understanding of underwriting principles and risk selection
- Detailed-oriented mindset - both qualitative and quantitative - with a demonstrated understanding of how product changes influence key performance metrics
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box for product solutions and enhancements
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and juggle multiple priorities at once
- Demonstrated ability to conduct insightful and value-add analysis
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels
- A self-starter that is hungry to learn and influence key decisions
