Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager of the Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) line of business, our Head of Product will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of key features and capabilities of the DAX solution, delivered in a fast-moving agile development environment. They will also be responsible for working with the market, business, and client-facing teams to identify and drive new requirements that continuously delight the physician community we serve and deliver meaningful outcomes to healthcare systems. We are seeking a seasoned healthcare product leader capable of managing a highly complex product offering, who can carefully balance the need for product execution speed with thoughtful and data-driven product development governance. This individual will also be able to set clear direction and priorities and inspire others to follow their lead through clear and crisp communication.
Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) is a first-of-its-kind AI-powered solution that captures a natural conversation between a physician and patient and converts that conversation into a high-quality clinical note. Not only does this reduce the administrative burden for the physician, but it also allows the physician to engage with the patient more effectively. In this leadership role you will be responsible for managing, publishing, and evangelizing the product roadmap and set execution priorities for the organization that deliver on target business objectives.
Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the go-to-market and business leaders to prioritize roadmap capabilities that deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Manage a team of product managers and technical product owners on all roadmap and product development execution.
  • Serve as a DAX product expert and assist with highly strategic sales and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with all functional leaders to drive clear alignment around roadmaps and processes.
  • Develop a methodology for classifying and reporting out all R&D investments mapped to business value.
  • Assist with customer advisory board forums and in-field customer research conducted by the user experience team.
  • Work closely with the customer success organization on all operational metrics of the business and seek alignment on how product roadmap capabilities will move the needle on key metrics and KPI's.
  • Stay current on 3rd party research and competitive analysis working with the marketing, business, and strategy teams.
  • Work with the program management and commercialization teams on all aspects of the New Product Introduction processes, both minor and major updates.
  • Drive a cross-functional team to high quality and on-time releases, holding teams accountable to their commitments and KPI's.
  • Manage product risk and compliance, working with cross functional experts and teams including regulatory, privacy, and system resiliency teams.


Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in technology or business related field. MBA preferred.
Number of Years of Work Experience: 10+ years
Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of successful product management of a cloud-based product offering within a physician-facing healthcare related solution domain
  • Experience managing highly complex and first-of-its-kind solutions
  • Experience scaling new product offerings
  • Highly data-driven in decision making practices and executive reporting
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communicator; capable of inspiring others and injecting energy and enthusiasm into the organization
  • Understanding of user experience research and voice-of-the customer best practices
  • Deep believer and subscriber to a growth mindset mentality, where decisiveness and failing fast and forward is embraced
  • Experience defining, deploying and improving product management processes
  • Sound business and financial skills with an ability to develop well thought out business cases that appropriately manage risk taking to optimize speed and quality, and deliver results consistently
  • Experience in related technology spaces (SaaS, Cloud, computing platforms, Artificial Intelligence)
  • Experience developing robust, customer-centric product and service requirements using Agile methodology, Confluence, JIRA, Product Board or similar tools and processes.
  • Excellent relationship skills, able to build rapport quickly and easily with domain experts.
  • Comfortable presenting to C-Level team


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with electronic health record systems, clinical documentation, or AI-enabled systems is a huge bonus.
