BitSight is transforming how the market addresses cybersecurity risk through Security Ratings. BitSight Security Ratings are real-time, data-driven measurements of organizational security performance that help investors, insurers, companies, government agencies and regulators make informed, dynamic risk decisions impacting financial decisions, business relationships, and national security.

As the leader in the cybersecurity ratings market, we are looking for a Director of Product Operations to help BitSight scale our product organization through our next phase of growth. 

The Director of Product Operations will own prioritization, release processes, tools and data analytics that drive focus and excellence for our product and engineering teams.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Prioritization
• Management of prioritization processes for product investments
• Management of the intake process for product ideas from all internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to triage high priority needs and projects and provide this consistent direction to the organization on an ongoing basis
• Release management
• Definition and implementation of all program management processes
• Establishment of best practices, tools, templates, and forums to enable product to scale desired processes
• Cross functional collaboration and communication to ensure we are ready to bring new capabilities to the market
• Analytics
• Set up of the systems to gather, analyze, understand data (adoption, usage, feedback, and engagement) for our products
• Analysis to understand performance and drive investments
• Tools/Processes
• Standards, benchmarks, metrics, and review of tools in our product tech stack to ensure we are getting the most value from our investment
• Interconnection of product and business systems
• Product Management
• Advisor and trusted partner to the Product Organization
• Management of a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects
• Planning of product leadership team meetings developing objectives and agenda to allow the team to achieve their goals
• Identification and ownership of key projects to drive operational maturity
• Management of cross-product capabilities from definition through delivery
• Budget
• Oversight of product budget for people, tools, and other expenses

The Expertise We're Looking For:

• Experience in a B2B software,  Product-led organization, either as a product manager or program manager or both.
• Strong technical competence and high degree of comfort with learning new technologies.
• Track record for influencing and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization, while fearlessly tackling tough problems and difficult conversations.
• World class follow through and relentless attention to detail.
• Sound business judgement and the ability to make tradeoffs and prioritize across multiple disparate initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in execution and transformation in a Product or Engineering organization
• Ability to collaborate, providing examples of collaboration across an organization

• Experience defining, documenting, and deploying organizational processes
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects across development and in production.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven track record in defining, enforcing, and tracking key business metrics

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or equivalent related work experience. MBA or other Master's degree is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in combination of product operations, product management, and/or program management disciplines.  Preference for SaaS experience and Cyber Security industry experience is a plus.
