As part of this mission, Chewy Health is hiring a Director, Product – Healthcare Services in Boston, MA offices to make Chewy a preferred partner to Veterinarian practices of all sizes -  from large, multi-clinic groups down to independently owned and operated clinics.  This leader will own defining and implementing the product strategy for our vet-facing services and associated consumer-facing experiences,  including building in-clinic tools and software that make it easier for vets to write and manage pet prescriptions, building shopping experiences that make filling and managing pet prescriptions a friction-free experience for pet parents, and optimizing the vet and pet parent CX to improve key operational and customer inputs that make vet practices .  Additionally, this leader will own building the next generation of services we offer to vets and pet parents, including identifying and sizing opportunities, defining the product and service strategy, defining the business model and associated investment case, and working with key partner teams across the product development cycle to bring these ideas to market.  The Director, Product - Healthcare Services will be a team leader and mentor in a high-pace environment demanding clear and effective leadership. 

What You'll Do:

• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for our vet-facing healthcare products & services
• Be the expert in the needs and value drivers of veterinarians, their employees and their customers:  Triangulate those insights, with product usage data, industry/consumer trends and competitive insights to identify features and enhancements that improve end-user experience and drive the business
• Guide the development of product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer.
• Lead cross functionally with teams of designers, engineers, TPMs, analysts, and marketers to deliver projects on your roadmap while cultivating and maintain a positive, inclusive and upbeat culture that brings out the best in people
• Identify, size and shape new opportunities to solve problems for vets and pet parents, and influence investment choices that will provide long-term innovation in the space
• Lead and develop a world class team of product leaders and product managers; Partner with recruiting to drive to identify and close top talent
• Communicate product strategy and status to key stakeholders across Chewy

What You'll Need:

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or similar discipline
• 10+ years of overall experience; 8+ years in product management in an engineering or business capacity
• 4+ years leading a product or engineering teams; experience leading leaders
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, deliver and scaling high-impact products or services for B2B or B2B2C channels that deliver measurable customer & business benefit
• Track record of building high-performing product or engineering teams, including hiring, developing and retaining both managers and individuals
• Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering, identifying and mitigating development and implementation risks, problem solving and communicating recommendations
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
• Demonstrated success in building a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation
• Inspirational leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit  

Bonus if you:

• Experience with launching new technology products/services to veterinary clinics OR medical practices
• Strong understanding of the overall pet care industry and recent trends
• In depth experience and understanding of the veterinary profession in the US; DVM degree is a strong plus
