Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an Associate Director Product Manager, Gift Cards to join our Gift Cards Team based in Boston, MA. The Associate Director Product Manager, Gift Cards is the driving force behind building and owning a comprehensive product plan on a strategic and operational level. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated self-starter and problem-solver with ample experience working across business and technology teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences and features. You will work closely with senior leadership and partner closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts, and UX designers, to define and deliver the product vision and associated roadmap. As the product owner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product roadmap, managing the prioritization of your backlog, utilizing a data-driven approach to optimize delivery against business goals, collaborating with product design, requirements definition, research, and launch efforts to deliver business value and WOW millions of pet parents. You will help drive innovation, scalability, integrations, and maintainability. You will be a central member of the Gift Cards leadership team.

What You'll Do 

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of Gift Card product plans for one of the fastest growing retail companies
  • Design and execute scalable Gift Card products with stakeholders across IT, Product, Analytics, Site Merchandising, and Category Management
  • Develop a deep understanding of Chewy users, customer journeys, competition, technology, team, and translate them into business and product strategies, goals, and action plans
  • Use goals and plans to define the roadmap and prioritize work for the team to execute against
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer behavior as well as business objectives
  • Use Agile methodologies to deliver and iterate on new features at a fast pace
  • Guide cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and analysts and play a key role in organizing and communicating their work across the organization
  • Serve as the overall Gift Cards product lead, collaborating internally and externally across all channels to ensure a cohesive product and go-to-market approach
  • Meticulously own multiple projects; ensuring clearly articulated strategies with flawless execution

What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years in product management positions in a leading E-commerce, retail, or CPG company
  • Significant experience with software development, testing, and technology
  • Track record of building high-impact consumer products demonstrating measurable business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to define requirements, specifications, and metrics for successful customer-facing products and/or customer experiences efficiently and with high quality
  • Ability to think and perform both strategically and tactically
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Cross-functional leadership experience with the demonstrated ability to develop teams and lead them to success
  • Ability to multi-task and lead multiple complex project plans within a fast-paced organization
  • Proven ability to influence across the organization, including with senior leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • BS in Computer Science or an engineering field
  • Position may require travel 

Bonus:

  • MBA in combination with Engineering or CS studies a big plus
  • Leadership experience of 3+ years
