Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking an Associate Director, Product Manager to join the smart shelf team in our Seattle, Boston or Minneapolis offices. Smart shelf is a dynamic UX that is used across the site to provide helpful purchase suggestions, utility and guidance to support pet parents throughout their shopping journey. In this high impact role, you will lead the smart shelf strategy and product roadmap. You will have the opportunity to define the optimal set of features and customer experiences that most effectively drive customer engagement. This role will give you exposure across Chewy’s entire business, as well as to different C-Suite leaders. What You'll Do:

  • In this high impact role, you will have the opportunity to shape and improve customer experience across the site, delivering delightful experiences to our customers.
  • Own, develop, and communicate the strategic long-term vision and goals for the smart shelf and manage the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring product vision aligns with both customer and business goals
  • Use your customer first mindset to set product visions and guide the development and delivery of best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Communicate product strategy and status to key stakeholders and senior leaders across Chewy; identify opportunities for cross-org partnership and innovation
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and superior communication skills; be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Define and analyze measures of success (KPIs) for new features and enhancements; transform these customer and business insights into clear requirements for product enhancements and new features.
  • Monitor performance of your product(s) and measure impact of product enhancements; communicate impact clearly across the organization and use to drive prioritization.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of high visibility initiatives by collaborating cross-functionally with design, engineering, business, analytics and other product teams to deliver features with strong customer and business value. 

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience, 6+ in eCommerce/product management.
  • A history of owning, developing, and communicating the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for a portfolio of customer-facing products
  • Passion for building functional and engaging customer experiences
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, people-oriented attitude
  • A track record of creating dramatic impact to both customer experience and business metrics
  • A proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and to effectively prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to evaluate risks and make data-driven decisions independently
  • Position may require travel
