Why we need you

mabl’s mission is to enable software teams to rapidly deliver high-quality products to their users through intelligent test automation. We are looking for a systems administrator co-op to help us solve complex product and technical problems to make end-to-end testing incredibly easy. You’ll have an opportunity to work as part of a small team of seasoned engineers and directly impact mabl’s business, customers, and culture. The team has a broad set of responsibilities making this a great opportunity to learn new skills and technologies.

What you'll do

• Manage the setup and administration of networking, security, video, and telephony infrastructure within mabl facilities
• Implement and improve operational monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
• Implement and improve operational automation with tools like Terraform
• Implement automation of security compliance activities (SOC2)
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
• Take responsibility for the quality and impact of your own contributions and those of your teammates
• Continually seek out and incorporate customer feedback into your work

What you'll bring to the table

• You have operational experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• You are comfortable working with command line interfaces and troubleshooting issues in distributed systems
• You have a high bar for quality of code and quality of user experience
• You constantly learn, challenge assumptions, and ensure your work is providing high customer value
• You are an effective communicator; we are a small team, and you will be involved in every aspect
• You are excited to learn new technologies and contribute wherever needed
