We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge and skill within the supply chain discipline to include purchasing, master planning, inventory control, logistics and international shipping. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for the strategic and operational performance of our Supply Chain and Fulfillment team.

In addition to our domestic and international supply partners, the Manager will interface, Customer Service, Finance, Warehouse Operations, Sales, Engineering and Quality providing a premiere level of service ensuring demands are met, processes are efficient, supplier performance is evaluated, and product purchase and delivery is on time, at the right cost, and in the proper quantities.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Demand planning – convert sales budget and forecast data to monthly material requirements

· Purchasing and material requirements planning

· Ability to review and implement strategy

· Supplier relationship management

· Warehouse and Distribution Center relationship management

· Complete end of month inventory reports while working closely with Finance and Accounting teams

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development

· Impeccable communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL:

  • Gain a solid understanding of our different product lines and customers
  • Review existing fulfillment processes
  • Begin interacting with overseas suppliers and begin to form relationships

WITHIN THREE MONTHa, YOU'LL:

  • Have bi-weekly or monthly meetings with Sales team and begin forecasting material requirements
  • Oversee all shipping out of 3rd party warehouse and own relationship with the warehouse
  • Complete all end of month reports for Accounting and Finance

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Be fully proficient with TempAlert’s systems and processes
  • Own complete relationships with overseas suppliers
  • Begin to implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiencies across the supply chain
