B2B includes three individual business units: the Tripadvisor Meta Auction (Tripadvisor’s largest revenue line), Advertising and Partner Solutions (our media business), and Hospitality Solutions (develops, markets and sells industry-leading SaaS and advertising products to our millions of hotelier and restaurateur partners worldwide). Our B2B team is embarking on an ambitious transformation agenda and is looking for a strong operations professional to help masterfully coordinate efforts across the org.

As Strategic Manager of Operations for B2B you will be integral to shaping the future success of our B2B org. This will be a highly visible role with significant exposure to Tripadvisor’s senior leadership team, including regular interaction with the Chief Commercial Officer and the entire B2B leadership team. You will own strategic program management for the B2B org, including running annual and quarterly planning processes, managing the B2B resourcing plans and budget, designing new strategic processes, and leading team building initiatives.
You will report into the Director of B2B Strategy and Operations. As part of the B2B Strategy and Operations team, you will actively work alongside relevant stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sales Operations, Research, and Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong bias toward action, excellent interpersonal skills, and comfort with ambiguity and change. They will have a knack for translating complex projects into actionable and digestible next steps. They will have technical aptitude, a desire to identify, measure, and solve internal operational and team challenges with creative solutions, and an unrelenting enthusiasm for implementing efficiencies that scale. You should have experience working closely and independently with sales teams, marketers, product managers, data scientists, engineers, researchers, and C-level executives.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage quarterly and annual planning processes in close collaboration with Finance partners and the B2B Leadership Team
Understand key performance drivers of each of our businesses and work with B2B leadership to help communicate financial performance in light of these performance drivers
Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency via business process improvement and develop and implement new processes for all of B2B or within individual business units
Ensure consistent and seamless communication through all disciplines and seniority levels of the organization.
Institute and evolve clear, concise, inclusive, and timely updates to and from stakeholder groups
Manage B2B resourcing plans, maintain the single source of truth for headcount for the organization
Analyze key performance indicators of the business to evaluate areas for high impact projects that could significantly grow the B2B business
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across a large, cross-functional team - including Finance, sales, marketing, product, engineering, HR
Be a key influencer of our B2B culture
What We Seek:
+6 years experience in operations or program management within a company or a consulting firm
Holistic strategic/business thinking & execution of plans
Ability to embrace change & drive change - test and learn culture!
Ability to work across teams - Crisp Stakeholder management - Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing etc
Strong leadership and management - building/enhancing team
An organized, entrepreneurial self-starter; able to identify what needs to get done, then willing and able to make it happen
Experience within the hospitality and accommodation industry a potential plus point
