FP&A Senior Manager – Management Reporting

Responsibilities:

Develop and automate monthly executive management reporting pack

  • Report Financials and appropriate KPIs to track the performance of the different business models
  • Ensure management information is generated in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Review actual results vs. budget on a monthly basis, providing insights / corrective actions

Own the Management Reporting system

  • Lead implementation of project working cross functionally with different teams in the organization
  • Understand all the data that resides in the cube, and understands every interface / data source to the tool
  • Continuous improvement assessments to the tool, implementing recommended periodic enhancements

Develop projects with:

  • Accounting team to align on overall reporting needs and standardized reporting packages, including flux analysis
  • Financial Operations team to optimize the service delivery of standardized reporting
  • Controllers team to ensure actual financial results are seamlessly imported into Hyperion for consolidation

As needed, act as a financial business partner for various functional areas:

  • Providing in-depth analysis and financial guidance, while identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Supporting different business initiatives by providing timely and accurate financial information and business KPI data

 

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills
  • Well-structured communication, both written and oral
  • Enjoys working cross-functionally in a positive and team-oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor
  • Strong story building and PowerPoint skills
  • Self-starter and desire to learn and develop skill sets
  • Strong excel skills (Tableau or other visualization tools is a plus)
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of work experience
  • Finance, consulting, private equity, or strategy experience
  • Reporting financial systems experience (Hyperion Essbase, Tableau) and/ or business multidimensional cube reporting, a plus
  • Agriculture experience a plus
  • Experience managing others, able to do so in a respectful and productive manner that helps develop others

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
