Sr. Manager, Local Operations & Logistics

Full-time - Boston

 

The Sr. Manager, Local Operations & Logistics is a key resource in the strategic development of all processes and tools used by our local operations team. The ideal candidate brings an exceptional track record of designing processes and has experience in logistics and resource planning. The Senior Manager will play an integral role in helping build world-class, scalable operations across cities in which we operate, supporting our rapid growth, and delivering a reliable, predictable and quality customer experience. This role is a key resource in the company and will report into the Director of City Operations.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Design, implement, and manage an end-to-end process for car onboarding.
  • Manage a team of Local Operations & Logistics Leads in their ability to build and maintain processes and tools for all local operations.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to integrate car onboarding tools with internal technologies and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Work very closely with all departments of the City Operations Team (Onboarding, Local Operations & Logistics, and Parking) and the key resources on the Markets Team (Regional Managers and General Managers) to ensure that all processes and tools developed are meeting all needs of the business.
  • Work with the Director of City Operations to implement KPI’s for measuring and improving efficiency of the car onboarding process.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of consulting experience
  • 2+ years of managing a team of strategic resources
  • Experience in strategy and operations required
  • Passion for designing processes that scale, particularly with respect to logistics, resource management, and scheduling.
  • Exceptional experience interpreting data to analyze and optimize logistics and service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure operational team processes are factored into new product offerings.
  • Relentless desire to build the strategy for the operations side of Getaround’s business
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to help the company scale to new heights
