SENIOR DIRECTOR, PRICING SERVICES

 

Indigo improves grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies. Responsibilities:

  • Adopt structure implementation strategy & keep project plans on pace
  • Understand Indigo’s current pricing solution offering
  • Translate customer needs into a financial product and understands the associated hedging and risk
  • Seen as subject matter expert in pricing services
  • Model risks of new structured products prior to product launch
  • Own and manage Indigo’s structured products book, offerings, and partner providers
  • Own the communications of portfolio risk along with the risk department

 

Competencies:

  • Understand and embody our mission & core values
  • Experience working in regulated environments in countries including US, Argentina, Australia and Brazil
  • Experience using data based decision processes
  • Understand a “delta neutral” book and general dynamic hedging practices
  • Comfortable working with all market participants - internal/external
  • Understand soft commodity price volatility
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal and Technology groups to define and offer products on platform
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and sense of accountability

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in market risk environment
  • 3+ years currency market exposure
  • 3+ years agriculture commodity market exposure
  • 3+ years non-US market exposure
  • Experience managing risk exposure in commodity markets
  • Capable of teaching of derivatives/ swaption behavior
  • Exposure to SQL/ code language
  • Bilingual a plus

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
