Shipper/Receiver
 
About the role:

Vecna seeks a shipper and receiver to support all shipping and receiving needs within the company. This role reports into the Product Delivery organization. Additional tasks related to inventory management, kitting and facilities management support will be assigned on an as needed basis. 
 
In This Role, You Will:

• Be responsible for daily receipt of packages, ensuring pack slips and received packages match, checking for damage and distributing packages to the appropriate department/person. within Vecna Robotics.
• Ensure pack slips are handed off in a timely manner to the purchasing team for reconciliation of open purchase orders.
• Provide assistance and/or coordination between the purchasing team and shipping companies to resolve any delivery or order issues.
• Be the point of contact for any Field Service or other departmental shipment requests, prepare product for shipment, prepare pack slips and coordinate shipment pick-up’s with Operations management.
• Complete shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, USPS and other freight companies that may be necessary.
• Contact vendors to create RMAs for goods that need to be returned.
• For received inventory items, work with production supervision to put away inventory in its proper location and properly complete inventory transactions.
• From time to time the shipper/receiver will be called up to pull inventory from stock and assemble kits for production.
• Facilities duties as assigned include but not limited to are: assistance with coordination between Vecna Robotics and the property manager, internal event setup, housekeeping, and organizing and assisting team members with ongoing projects.

What We Are Looking For:

• 3+ years of recent experience working within a shipping and receiving department.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Possess valid drivers license.
• Experience driving a forklift and pallet jacks.
• Experience with inventory control methods, stockroom management and kitting.
• Experience coordinating with LTL and dedicated freight carriers.
• Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise, MS Office Suite a plus.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Facilities experience a plus (maintenance, housekeeping, etc).
• International shipping experience a plus.
