About the role:

HubSpot is currently seeking a Senior Voice Engineer with expertise in a Cisco Call Manager and Contact Center environment. This person will design, test, implement, document, administer, maintain, monitor, optimize and ensure the expandability of the telephony network in the US and abroad. This individual must have in-depth experience with Cisco enterprise-level equipment and preferably worked in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain global voice solutions.
• Research and recommend VOIP projects and solutions. Stay up to date on current products, technologies, and trends. Create and present proposals to senior management to get “buy-in” on technology advancements.
• Create and maintain both logical and physical voice diagrams
• Monitor & test voice performance and provide voice performance stats and reports.
• Oversee new and existing voice equipment, hardware and software upgrades
• Provide voice performance stats and reports based on monitoring statistics
• Oversee new and existing voice equipment, hardware and software upgrades.

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of VOIP/Cisco technology experience
• CCNP certification
• Experience with Cisco Call Center Express
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies and QOS design & implementation.
• Experience with capacity planning, security and best practices as they relate to VOIP and network technologies.
• Expert knowledge of many of the following voice technologies: Cisco UC, Call Manager, Unity, UCCX Scripting, SIP Trunks, Cisco IOS VoiceGateways, Mobility, Presence, QoS,
• Experience managing voice circuits, IP and TDM
• Experience planning, documenting and implementing mid to large sized projects with multiple dependencies
• Proficiency in IVR and UCCX application scripting
• Experience with fundamental server and VoIP architectures
• Experience in data networking to include design, implementation, management and troubleshooting Cisco solutions
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
• Ability to work as part of team during planning, coordinating and installation of services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a complex environment with the desire and ability to grow professionally
